Non-coder builds Frame-Grid with Claude: turn any video into frame grids LLMs can watch
Khamubro · reddit · 2026-10-11
A self-described non-coder partnered with Claude to build Frame-Grid, a free tool that lets LLMs "watch" videos. It records or uploads video/GIF, splits it into labeled sequential frame grids packed into single PNGs (up to 20), which you feed to a multimodal model. It follows the author's "Xinu philosophy" — the inverse of Unix: single file, browser-based, fully offline, zero external dependencies, all client-side with no servers. The author designed the spec; Claude wrote all the code.
