UK government backs all 44 recommendations of NHS doctors-led AI in healthcare commission

The UK government has accepted all 44 recommendations from the National Commission into the Regulation of AI in Healthcare, committing to a proportionate, lifecycle-based regulatory framework. The MHRA also opened the third phase of its AI Airlock sandbox for AI-enabled medical devices, themed around the commission's ten priority areas.
