The ComfyUI-SeedVR2-VideoUpscaler-with-TensorRT project released v1.6.6, adding native ConvRot W4A8 quantization support and DisTorch2 scope changes.
- W4A8 was harder to implement than expected, but benchmarks show better quality than NVFP4 at a size equivalent to 4 bits.
- Drawbacks: VRAM usage is on par with ConvRot INT8 (expected since weights expand to 8 bits), and DisTorch2 actually spiked VRAM to unusable levels—though simply not using it avoids the issue.
