Developer ngxson reports that AI made hardware interop trivially achievable: in one week he connected AirPrint to ESP32 to USB to an old printer, bridged Flipper Zero to Tuya devices via telink, and flashed ESPHome onto a smart plug after some serious hacking. His takeaway: thanks to AI, everything is now compatible with everything.
