Claude Projects in practice: screen takeover, flaky browser use and broken thread orchestration
strickvl · x · 2026-10-11
Developer strickvl details his frustrating experience with Claude Projects: browser automation takes over the screen and flickers every two seconds, the main orchestrator thread seemingly does nothing while work happens in sub-threads, and threads stubbornly run in the cloud even when useful files are gitignored locally — leading to a sub-thread asking the user to manually paste a message to the local session. He concludes the product's interface is currently quite buggy.
