Vivix Labs' video generation model Vivix W1 is priced at just $0.003 per second, with supplied comparisons placing its visual quality alongside leading models. Generation speed is near real-time: roughly eight seconds to produce an eight-second clip.
The bigger story is that W1 is a real-time interactive video model, already offered via API, while the browser playground currently produces finished clips. Cheap generation could make interactive stories and live visuals practical to run at scale — every extra minute of interaction means more video to generate and pay for.
