Anthropic launches Claude Motion beta: turn reports into editable MP4 animated explainers

Anthropic officially announced that Claude Dashboards and Claude Motion are entering beta. Claude Motion turns a report, a chart, or just an idea into a short animated explainer you can download as an MP4.
Because it writes the animation as code, you can tweak any word, number, or timing afterwards without redoing the work. Prajwal Tomar argues it kills the old tradeoff of learning After Effects or paying and waiting for a motion designer. Suggested uses: feeding monthly numbers to get a 30-second animated explainer, building fully animated app onboarding walkthroughs, and dropping the output into Higgsfield or Runway to layer on real footage.
