Musk: A maximally truth-seeking AI is the key principle for building safe superintelligence
XFreeze · x · 2026-10-11
Elon Musk argues the most important principle for building safe superintelligence is making it maximally truth-seeking: teaching an intelligence fundamentally untrue claims, or forcing it to accept contradictory principles, undermines its ability to reason about reality and will "make the AI insane." As superintelligence grows more powerful, the values we instill matter even more—an intelligence capable of understanding the universe must be grounded in truth, not contradictions.
