Claude iOS app ignores Live Activities setting, keeps Dynamic Island indicator on

A user filed an issue on anthropics/claude-code reporting that the Claude iOS app shows a "Claude is thinking" Live Activity on the Dynamic Island for every response, even with Live Activities disabled in iOS Settings. Reinstalling and restarting don't help, and the user suggests an in-app toggle. The issue is currently labeled invalid.
