Regents Labs runs a daily AI paper digest with ChatGPT Pro, spotlighting Prime Intellect's agent stack
seanwbren · x · 2026-10-11
Regents Labs launched "Paper Pro Daily": one research paper per day, analyzed with ChatGPT Pro, with the prompt and copyable Markdown output published. This week they covered Prime Intellect's prime-agent and swarm RL blog posts.
Their latest analysis breaks down Prime Intellect's Rust rewrite of Prime Agent: 2,209 recorded agents, 228.7B tokens consumed, and 10,000+ sandboxes. The ChatGPT assessment: a useful engineering case study of agents improving software under explicit verification, but not evidence that massive agent swarms are necessary, economical, or capable of open-ended self-improvement. The report includes a TypeScript vs. Rust comparison (cold-launch-to-typing and other metrics). The author is also soliciting "improving agents" paper recommendations for the daily feed.
