Anthropic won't let you change your email, forcing users to abandon accounts

A user details a frustrating Anthropic account limitation:
- Accounts created via Apple login have no password and use an iCloud forwarding address, making sign-in on non-Apple devices (like a Raspberry Pi) a chore of email codes—and support confirmed the email cannot be changed.
- Worse: migrating to a Teams plan requires a business email, and if it differs from your Max plan email, no chats, artifacts, or connectors can transfer over.
- Data can be exported but there's no import feature, meaning starting from scratch except for manually copying your claude.md.
The post is a plea for Anthropic to support email changes—a real pain point for multi-device and multi-plan users.
