Claude Opus 5.5 decompiles so well that Halo, GTA and CoD now run in browsers

Hundreds of vibe-coded, AI-decompiled browser game ports have appeared almost overnight: Call of Duty: Black Ops, Halo: CE, GTA: Vice City, Skate 3 and The Simpsons: Hit and Run all seem to run well in a browser tab. The driver is Claude Opus 5.5, whose decompilation skills compress months of porting work into record time.
Kotaku calls it perhaps the most concerning development yet: even if Take-Two and Microsoft send cease-and-desist letters, these ports are so cheap and fast to recreate that IP protection becomes whack-a-mole. One viral post notes schoolkids can now play these games directly in a browser tab.
