Open-source MCP server lets Claude Opus 5.5 write complete FL Studio tracks end to end
delarein · reddit · 2026-10-11
A developer open-sourced kuruitsugizaki, an MCP server that gives a model full control of FL Studio. Claude Opus 5.5 used it to write a 2-minute glitchy witch house × breakcore track, "Factory Seance," start to finish in about 35 minutes using only FL's factory sounds.
Capabilities:
- Write a whole .flp project in one call, or read and edit existing projects without touching anything else;
- Use any installed plugin by name with its presets and automate any knob;
- Route the mixer: buses, sidechain, effects chains;
- Open, play and render in a running FL, tweak settings live, and read renders back as spectrograms, loudness and stereo width numbers—the model can't hear, but it can "see" sound.
Windows only, built and tested with FL Studio 2025. Project: github.com/whatanaiceguy/kuruitsugizaki.
