A developer spent 5 days recreating the classic 8-bit game Faxanadu with LLMs — starting as an 8-bit remake, eventually having the LLM draw 16/32-bit sprites and tilesets. His verdict: LLMs are quite bad at many tasks and certainly aren't replacing artists, but the project brought back childhood nostalgia.
