Claude Code Projects opens to all Pro and Max users with multi-thread coordinator
rohanpaul_ai · x · 2026-10-11
Anthropic has opened Claude Code Projects to every Pro and Max user, following a narrow beta launch on Sept 17.
- A coordinator replaces the folder-style project: it scopes a goal, hands pieces to parallel threads, reviews output, and assembles the finished result.
- Each thread runs as a full Claude Code cloud session on its own branch and repo copy, with shared project memory so decisions from one task (e.g. a moved release date) shape later tasks without re-prompting.
- Collisions between threads resolve as normal merge conflicts rather than silent overwrites.
