Two AGI Visions: Pillaging the Process-of-Life vs. Giving Back to It
danfaggella · x · 2026-10-11
danfaggella offers a dichotomy: every vision of "what humans should do at/after AGI" falls into two categories — aspirations for humanity to pillage all other posthuman entities, taking from the greater process-of-life (the circulation of energy, information, and matter keeping living systems alive and expanding), or aspirations for humans to be part of the waves of posthuman life and give back to it. He calls one immoral and the other moral.
