Anthropic launches Claude Dashboards: natural-language BI that shows the SQL behind every chart
shashib · x · 2026-10-11
Anthropic announced three updates on October 8, 2026. Claude Dashboards (beta, paid plans) connects to Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks, Snowflake and other sources; you ask in plain language, Claude writes and runs SQL per chart, and builds a dashboard that stays current — with every chart showing its exact query and last-refresh time, plus export to Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, Perplexity and more.
Claude Motion entered beta for Team/Enterprise, while Claude Docs, Slides, and Design left beta and are now available on all plans including Free; Anthropic says users have created over 45 million such files. The author's take: it removes the SQL/ticket wait for questions business users can already name, but doesn't replace a full BI platform for deeper analysis.
