mokalabs: local proxy shows exactly what Cursor and Claude send your MCP servers
mokalabshq · reddit · 2026-10-10
Debugging MCP servers inside editors is guesswork: you can't tell if a client timed out, dropped a request, or silently retried and ran a tool twice. The author built a local proxy to inspect raw wire traffic:
- npx @mokalabs/proxy wrap temporarily hooks into your MCP configs (Cursor, VS Code, Claude, Windsurf, etc.); unwrap restores them
- Live inspector for request/response payloads, latency, timeouts, and server stderr
- Fully local, MIT licensed
