A Reddit user reports a serious ChatGPT reliability regression: GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.6 Sol stream responses normally, but the entire assistant message disappears the moment generation completes. Reproduced across Windows/Chrome, iOS, and Android, with dev-tools evidence showing HTTP 200 and a completed SSE stream from /backend-api/f/conversation — content was generated but apparently never persisted. GPT-6 long-form replies also showed inconsistency. Escalated to OpenAI support; unresolved. Request IDs shared for independent reproduction.
