Bain's high-case scenario projects roughly 183GW of new data center capacity to be built by 2030, taking total capacity from 79GW in 2025 to 262GW. Its earlier estimate put the buildout at nearly 150GW of new capacity, requiring $5 trillion to $6.5 trillion in spending, with $NVDA, $MSFT, $META, $GOOG and $AMZN as key players.
