Claude web interface blocks uploading new Skills, multi-file skills left stranded

Developer strickvl complained that Claude's web interface restricts uploading new Skills: there's no way to upload a multi-file skill through claude.ai. He questions the rationale and asks how multi-file skills are supposed to be installed at all. No official response yet.
