Vivix Labs launched Vivix W1, a streaming-native real-time interactive video model priced at just $0.003 per second — one Seedance 2.5 clip costs about as much as 77 W1 clips of the same length.
Key points:
- Pricing comparison: Seedance 2.5 runs $0.231/sec, Kling 3.0 $0.112/sec, MiniMax H3 Max $0.080/sec. On the same $1 budget, W1 produces 41.7 videos vs 0.5 for Seedance 2.5
- Speed: W1 generates an 8-second clip in 8.4 seconds, while Seedance 2.5 takes 272s and Kling 3.0 takes 146s
- Positioning: W1 is built for continuously generated, interactive worlds driven by text, voice, and motion — where per-second cost is the key to making real-time experiences viable at scale
- Availability: Real-time generation API is live via Vivix, browser tools are coming, and the Playground already produces completed clips
The open question: whether the system can hold up when many users hit it at once.
