Reacting to the debate over rejecting OpenAI's model-generated proofs on faith, Rex Douglass argues it's strange for any scientist to declare they won't take something on faith — "No one serious was taking things on faith before. We were choosing to ignore almost everything written anywhere. It was always the author's burden."
