Dev skips $1,000/month screen-recording gig over IP concerns, but says students with open-source work should take it

Following up on his post about AI researchers paying up to $1,000/month for screen recordings, Chris Rackauckas says he isn't participating because company IP concerns make recording his work email pointless.
He adds that if he were a student again with only open-source work, he'd take the cash without hesitation — clarifying who can safely join such data collection programs.
