Chris Rackauckas reports that AI researchers he knows are paying up to $1,000/month for programs that record users' screens while they work.
He warns of clear privacy risks: anyone handling sensitive or company data should avoid it. He himself opted out due to company IP concerns, but says as a student with only open-source work he'd happily take the cash.
