Key workflow detail: tracking alone swaps IDs when a forearm sweeps over tools or a tool leaves frame, so DINOv3 acts as a verification pass — when a tool returns after 15 seconds with its near-identical twin still on the tray, DINOv3 matches the returned one at 0.93 similarity while tray impostors score only 0.70, preventing ID drift.
