Developer banteg, while optimizing his browser game, found that bot players are relentlessly min-maxing the game mechanics and surfacing ever weirder edge cases — "the bots paperclipping the game" helped discover, among other things, a negative spawn interval. A funny example of players (and scripts) breaking a game in ways its author never anticipated.
