Scoble: Tesla workers wear odd headset rigs to feed training data to Optimus
jroebuck · x · 2026-10-10
Robert Scoble shares observations from a Tesla Gigafactory tour: workers aren't worried about training their replacements — instead they walk around wearing odd contraptions (VR-headset-like) to collect training data for Optimus, in both Texas and California. He argues robotics is a data game: whoever has the most data wins. Responder jroebuck is skeptical of the framing.
