Amp now supports Claude Pro/Max subscriptions for free via Claude Agent SDK

Amp announced (by very popular request, free for everyone) that you can now use your Claude Pro/Max subscription inside Amp. Pick Mode > Claude Code when creating a new thread and link your Claude sub.
Under the hood it uses the Claude Agent SDK instead of Amp's own agent, but Amp has made all its features work with it: orbs, runners, thread sharing, portals, multiplayer, thread-to-thread messaging and orchestration. Early-access user iannuttall says he's moved basically all his work to Amp, combining his Claude and OpenAI subscriptions.
