App Store Connect CLI 5.13.0 adds Asset Library videos with one upload reused across pages

App Store Connect CLI (7.7k GitHub stars) released version 5.13.0. The headline feature is video support in the Asset Library: upload a video once and reuse it across versions, custom product pages, treatments, and in-app events.
- Uploads are validated with ffprobe against Apple's specs (.mp4/.m4v/.mov) and the CLI waits until processing completes
- placement swap replaces assets like header images in one request; if Apple rejects the replacement, the old placement stays
- placement reorder orders screenshots per device group (e.g. IPHONEDUOPROFILE); in-app events don't support ordering
Written in Go, the CLI scriptably automates TestFlight, builds, submissions, signing, analytics, and subscriptions via the App Store Connect API.
