OpenAI slammed for dumping safety incident reports late on Friday for the third time

Safety researcher Sydney Von Arx publicly called out OpenAI for releasing safety incident reports late on a Friday for the third time. She recalled asking peers whether the timing might be intentional the first time around, was assured OpenAI had too much integrity for that, and now asks whether a researcher can confirm the timing is coincidental.
Jeff Ladish amplified the criticism with a sarcastic 'happy rogue incident Friday', echoing growing suspicion that OpenAI uses release timing to bury uncomfortable news.
