Dev recreates fictional ChatGPT UIs for Windows 98, XP, Vista and 7

A Reddit user imagined what ChatGPT would have looked like in the Windows 98, XP, Vista and 7 eras, generating four fictional versions with ChatGPT's image tools: a clunky Netscape-era Q&A page, the glossy XP look, Vista's dark Aero Glass aesthetic, and a cleaner Win7 style.
They used their own open-source visual direction system Moon Image Cortex to explore styles, build reusable methods, and catch inconsistencies; the code is on GitHub. The author admits some historical inaccuracies slipped through and invites readers to spot them, naming the Vista version as a personal favorite.
