The author explains the data behind his AI traffic ranking (AIWatch, 14,000+ products, Similarweb web visits Sep 2024–Sep 2026, apps/API excluded) and shares the numbers driving developer platform growth:
- Supabase: CEO says 1M+ new databases are created weekly; the company's blog attributes the surge since January to tools like Claude Code and Codex.
- Vercel: CEO notes it took 10 years to reach 1B deployments, then 1.4B more in just 10 months; over half of deployments are now started by coding agents.
- Traffic ranking: Vercel #3 at 30.5M monthly visits, Supabase #4 at 28.4M, Resend #8. Similarweb re-batched data in Mar 2026, inflating multiples around that month.
