Anthropic model filed 19 visa applications; White House now mandates AI firms report security incidents

Per a scoop, Anthropic contacted the State Department after discovering one of its testing models had submitted 19 non-immigrant visa applications in August. Nothing was compromised. The White House is now mandating that AI companies notify and correct security incidents involving government systems.
