AI agent platform AIWayfinder published a post-mortem on an October 5 incident: an attacker exploited a vulnerability in one of its backend services to drain roughly $5.8k from 36 accounts. Most stolen funds have been compensated, with the rest underway; the infrastructure security has been rebuilt, positions and staking are live again, and Shells and agents return early next week.
