ChapterPal launches Android app with offline reading and on-device LLM
burkov · x · 2026-10-10
Burkov announced an Android version of ChapterPal with offline reading — books and papers can be downloaded to the device, Spotify-style. He notes modern Android devices ship an offline language model but can't test it himself (Pixel 8), so he's asking owners of this year's Android phones to verify it works. An iOS app is in progress; he complains about Apple's bureaucratic review process.
