Revolut builds agentic AI shopper AIR: browsing and buying for users, UK beta in December
JensHonack · x · 2026-10-10
Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky told Bloomberg the company is building AIR (AI by Revolut), its answer to Meta Muse (launched September) and Grok Bot as personal/work agents.
Key points:
- AIR will browse the internet and Amazon to shop for customers, wired directly into Revolut's banking and payments; card details stay inside Revolut's environment, which the CEO called "completely secure";
- Testing starts in December in the UK, then expands across Europe;
- The poster frames it as the death of traditional fintech and the rise of agentic fintech.
