BCI startup Sabi raises $50M to build a mind-reading baseball cap, no surgery needed

Brain-computer interface startup Sabi announced a $50M raise from Khosla Ventures, Accel, Initialized, DST Global, and angel investors including Kevin Weil.
- The product is a wearable BCI cap: put it on, think, and it types for you — no keyboard, no speaking
- Unlike Neuralink's surgical implants, Sabi designed its own chip and sensors to read brain signals from outside the head, without touching the skin, and trained its own AI on brain data
- It can reportedly predict the next 3-4 keys you're about to hit before your fingers move
Note the promotional framing ("Neuralink founders must be SHAKING") — claims await third-party verification.
