OpenAI's dot can now kick off work in Codex and manage Scheduled Tasks
pvncher · x · 2026-10-10
OpenAI announced an update to its dot agent: it can now start work directly in Codex and follow up on existing threads, drawing on your ChatGPT conversations, Codex threads, and automations as context. It's also better at deciding when to keep a thread going versus starting fresh.
Additionally, dot can review and edit Scheduled Tasks in ChatGPT Work — ask what's scheduled or update recurring tasks as plans change.
