Cloudflare ships Clef-omni with audio/video input, cuts Clef-flash to $0.038/M tokens

A week after launching its open-weight "decision models," Cloudflare updates the Clef family:
- Clef-omni: accepts audio (wav/mp3) and video (mp4/webm) input alongside text and images, removing the need for cascaded speech-to-text pipelines
- Cloudflare teams internally use it for PII detection, malicious domain detection, and closing spam issues in the docs repo
- Clef-flash gets cheaper at $0.038 per M input tokens, undercutting the competing Jev
- Clef itself is also faster
The team notes Clef went from Friday-evening decision to trained-over-the-weekend, launched-Thursday — all open weight.
