Summarize: free Mac tool summarizes anything on screen in ~1s via Cerebras, one command to install
draecomino · x · 2026-10-10
Flo Crivello released Summarize, a free Mac utility that summarizes anything on your screen via a global hotkey (Caps Lock+2). It runs on a fast Cerebras-served model — first words in 0.7s, full summary in 1s — is built on Hammerspoon, needs only an OpenRouter API key, and installs with one command. It reads screenshots when nothing is selected, grabs article text in Chrome, rewrites selected email text in place via "Clean up", and supports follow-up questions in the floating panel. Author Altimor says he vibe-coded it last week and uses it all day.
