GitSwarm proposes "compounding inference": treating agent runs as reusable Git-based artifacts
anirudhg9119 · x · 2026-10-10
anirudhg9119 introduces "compounding inference": instead of treating each agent run as a disposable trajectory, make it a contribution to a persistent body of work that other agents can inspect, extend, combine, or challenge — with Git as the shared substrate (project: GitSwarm).
He argues current scaling approaches fall short: parallel independent attempts repeatedly rediscover work, while a single longer trajectory loses discoveries to context compression. Neither makes intermediate research a first-class, reusable artifact.
