Ben Horowitz announced he's working with TypeSafe AI's core team (@CompleteSkeptic, Erik, Sash Dog), as a16z officially announced leading TypeSafe AI's Series A. The investment memo stresses that the future of SaaS and software is bright, and AI should make software more powerful rather than merely automating the recreation of existing software. Horowitz has long been a fan of founder/CEO Diogo, endorsing his vision that the true bitter lesson isn't necessarily building a new being, but returning power to builders by giving them the primitives of intelligence and letting their imagination run. "Software continues to eat the world."
