Grok Bot can now claim its own email address and sign up for newsletters
testingcatalog · x · 2026-10-10
xAI's Grok Bot rolled out a new capability: users can ask a Bot to claim its own dedicated email address, which the bot can use to communicate with others and sign up for services.
TestingCatalog tested it by having the bot subscribe to their daily AI Brief newsletter, and it handled the flow perfectly. The feature is rolling out today—users can just ask Bot or tag @bot on X; team admins must enable it. Grok Bot is positioned as an AI teammate that signs into your tools and works in parallel.
