Claude Code Projects docs detail parallel cloud threads, Remote Control and rollout limits
ClaudeDevs · x · 2026-10-10
Claude Code's official docs explain how Projects works:
- One project = one ongoing conversation: Claude takes a stream of related tasks, spawns a thread per task, and runs them in parallel with shared repos, instructions, and memory
- Threads are cloud sessions by default: they keep running after you close your laptop; local threads run only while the machine is awake, and Remote Control can pin a task to your computer
- You can monitor and steer threads from your phone
- Rollout: public beta on Pro/Max, prioritized for users of cloud sessions without existing claude.ai or Cowork projects; Team/Enterprise not yet supported
