Anthropic launches Claude Code Projects beta: one conversation coordinates parallel tasks
ClaudeDevs · x · 2026-10-10
Anthropic announced Claude Code Projects in public beta, rolling out gradually to Pro and Max users with a waitlist for earlier access.
- A Project is one ongoing conversation: you feed in related tasks and Claude coordinates them, running each task as its own thread in parallel
- Threads are typically cloud sessions of Claude Code; tasks needing local resources can run on your machine via Remote Control, and cloud threads keep going after you close your laptop
- It also upgrades the existing Projects feature in claude.ai chat and Cowork
