"Hardest role to hire for at AI startups": a dating-profile-style job spec goes viral
willcb · x · 2026-10-10
@willcb jokes: "literal hardest role to hire for rn and every ai startup wants someone," then lists a spec straight out of a dating profile: 35-42, healthy masculinity, smart/funny, provider mentality, post-economic but hardworking, kind and generous, no kids but wants them, on a "healing path" (therapists, books, retreats), fit and sober, no prior marriages, works in tech.
He concludes: "such a small niche of folks who can do this." @threepointone got looped in for extra comedy.
