LangChain ships Reactions API in Managed Deep Agents 0.9 for Slack agent loading states
hwchase17 · x · 2026-10-10
LangChain's Managed Deep Agents 0.9 adds a Reactions API for Slack channels, built around the idea that loading states are underrated in agent UX.
Developers can now build loading states and receipts for their agents using simple heuristics, decision models (like Jev), or custom logic. An accompanying article outlines LangChain's product philosophy: great out-of-the-box agent experiences shouldn't require users to build status feedback themselves.
