HeyGen's first TTS model, HeyGen Voice, tops the Artificial Analysis Controlled Voice Arena at 1201 Elo, ahead of Alibaba's Qwen-Audio-3.1-TTS-Plus (1182) and ElevenLabs' Eleven v4 Turbo (1166). The arena blind-tests all models with the same 8 cloned voices (4 US, 4 UK).
Other notables:
- Eleven v4 is priced at $80/1M chars, the priciest of its family; HeyGen Voice costs $30
- Qwen TTS models are among the cheapest ($19.3) while staying near the top
- StepAudio 2.5 TTS charges $85/1M chars yet ranks only 10-12th
- Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS ($16.5) sits in the 13-17 band
