Pine launches Pine Computer: rebuilding the PC around how AI actually works
alifcoder · x · 2026-10-10
Stanley Wei announced Pine Computer with a provocative thesis: AI is already smart enough — real-world tasks are slow, expensive, and unreliable because we hand AI a computer built for humans and wrap it in a heavy harness.
Instead of teaching AI to wrestle with human-oriented software, Pine is redesigning the computer layer itself around how AI works. Amplifiers argue this flips the usual framing: the bottleneck may be the environment, not the model.
